We understand the importance of maximizing your time during visits — but we also want to help you understand how different types of appointments are billed.

🩺 Annual Physical Exam (Preventive Visit):This is a comprehensive wellness check-up designed to screen for general health issues. It includes preventive care such as age-appropriate screenings, immunizations, and health counseling — and is typically covered by insurance at no cost to you.

⚠️ Problem-Focused Visit (Sick or Chronic Issue):This addresses specific concerns such as pain, new symptoms, or ongoing chronic conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. These visits are diagnostic and are not included in a routine physical exam. Insurance companies bill these separately, and they may be subject to copays or deductibles.

🧾 What If I Have Both?If you have health concerns you'd like to discuss during your physical, we’re happy to address them — but please know this becomes a modified or additional visit. Insurance may process this as two services, and there may be an additional charge.

Our goal is to provide thorough, personalized care. If you have specific health concerns, let us know in advance so we can schedule your visit appropriately.
