A few changes to expect!

Hello! This is Teri. I wanted to inform you all that in my effort to provide more comprehensive care, I started a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification program at the beginning of this summer. Since some of my coursework from the University of Wyoming was transferable, I will finish this program by the end of next summer (2027). Many individuals face challenges with their mental health, and I aim to assist them as much as possible without needing to refer them to another provider.

This will lead to a few changes. Sally Rafert, NP, will be available on Mondays (starting mid-September) to see patients while I fulfill my clinical hour requirements. She is an experienced NP who has completed a family practice residency program and is certified in Lifestyle Management.

I will be continuing as a preceptor for Fall 2026 and a University of Wyoming Family Nurse Practitioner student will be starting her clinical hours with us in September.
